Donations
Your donations help us reach more people. We need money to support our awareness campaigns. Costs of public liability insurance; attendance at community events; advertising; stationery and printing costs; postage and telecommunications; software and IT equipment all add up! We do not have premises or paid staff so all your money goes into supporting our campaigns. Once we have secured a site for a hedgehog hospital, we will be launching a larger scale fundraising project and your donations will then be absolutely vital to our success in the short and long term.
Ways to help:
You can donate via PayPal or Golden Giving. Both offer the option to give one off or regular donations. Don’t forget to add Gift Aid. Please email hello@cambridgehedgehogs.org if you’d rather make a direct bank transfer to us, or would like to help in any other way.

Shop for us!
Major retailers will donate a percentage of your purchase price if you visit Easy Fundraising before their site! It is very straightforward – you can read more here.
Amazon will donate to us if you shop through Amazon Smile – just search for Cambridge Hedgehogs as your chosen charity.
We also have an eBay shop where you can buy some of our exclusive handmade items – perfect gifts for Christmas! We are always updating our stock so keep checking back. Visit our shop here: www.ebay.co.uk/usr/camhedgehog
Help us fundraise
We have a place in the London Marathon 2020! Please get in touch if you would like to be considered for this.
If you would like to help raise money for us, please get in touch so that we can help promote your activity through our social media channels. Ideas for fundraising might include a sponsored sports event; a bake sale at your local school or community group; or perhaps something completely crazy like a sponsored skydive!
Volunteering
We do not have any posts available at present for people wishing to care for hedgehogs, but there are other ways you can help us!
- Leaflet delivery
- Manning stalls at community events
- Bringing professional skills to our group (e.g. research, digital, accountancy, law, HR, fundraising, grant-writing etc)
- Making items that we can sell to raise funds (no toys please)
- Giving talks at community groups or organising events
Please get in touch and we will try to find a way that you can help us that best fits your skills.
We are delighted to be offering volunteering opportunities to participants of all levels of the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme. We can tailor this experience to your interests so please get in touch to discuss what we can offer.
